Stage 4 – The Seven Stages of God’s take-over agenda

The Stage we are currently in is Stage Four. To prove this, let us consider all the things spoken about stage four.

The opening of the fourth seal: Revelation 6:7-8 KJV reads:

“[7] And when He had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
[8] And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.”

This passage reveals to us that, in the fourth stage, the spirit of death and hell (hades) will be permitted to kill many people through any means. The name hell, in this verse, actually refers to hades. Hades is the state a person is in when he/she loses his/her body. It is not a physical place, nor a spiritual place. All persons who have died physically are in a state of hades. Hades is just a term used by those who are physically alive to refer to those who have departed the body. This term Hades is then used as a name to refer to the spirit, or group of spirits, responsible for causing physical death. Death and Hell are one group of spirits, and in this fourth stage, they are permitted to cause untimely death through diverse means:

  • With sword (representing wars and conflicts – tribal conflicts, religious conflicts, political conflicts)
  • With hunger (representing famine)
  • With death (representing any random means, e.g. the sporadic shootings we see in our time, etc), and
  • With the beasts of the earth (representing wild animals, or reptiles, killing people)

By simply tuning to the news on our televisions, computers, radios, or phones, we will observe that all these are currently going on. Now, remember that the things shown after a seal is opened are a prophecy of the things that will happen within that stage. They actually happen when the trumpet is sounded and the vial is poured. Meaning, it is as a result of the sounding of the fourth trumpet and the pouring of the fourth vial that death and hades will go forth to slay a fourth of humanity.

Let us now proceed to consider what is shown when the fourth trumpet is sounded.

The sounding of the fourth trumpet: Revelation 8:12 KJV reads:

“[12] And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.”

From this passage, we can see that darkness came upon the world for a third of the time; and this darkness was caused by smiting the third part of the sun, the moon, and the stars. But what does this mean? To understand this, we will consider another scripture where a similar symbol is used.

Ezekiel 32:1-15 NKJV reads:
“[1] And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, on the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
[2] Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say to him, ‘You art like a young lion among the nations, and you are like a monster in the seas, Bursting forth in your rivers, Troubling the waters with your feet, And fouling their rivers.’
[3] Thus says the Lord God: ‘I will therefore spread My net over you with a company of many people, And they will draw you up in My net.
[4] Then will I leave you on the land; I will cast you out on the open fields, And cause to settle on you all the birds of the heavens. And with you I will fill the beasts of the whole earth.
[5] I will lay your flesh on the mountains, And fill the valleys with your carcass.
[6] ‘I will also water the land with the flow of your blood, Even to the mountains; And the riverbeds will be full of you.
[7] When I put on your light, I will cover the heavens, and make its stars dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, And the moon shall not give her light.
[8] All the bright lights of the heavens I will make dark over you, And bring darkness upon your land,’ Says the Lord God.
[9] ‘I will also trouble the hearts of many peoples, when I bring your destruction among the nations, into the countries which you have not known.
[10] Yes, I will make many peoples astonished at you, and their kings shall be horribly afraid of you when I brandish My sword before them; and they shall tremble every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of your fall.’
[11] “For thus says the Lord GOD: ‘The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon you.
[12] By the swords of the mighty warriors, all of them the most terrible of the nations, I will cause your multitude to fall. ‘They shall plunder the pomp of Egypt, And all its multitude shall be destroyed.
[13] Also I will destroy also its animals from beside its great waters; The foot of man shall muddy them no more, Nor shall the hooves of animals muddy them.
[14] The I will make their waters clear, And make their rivers run like oil,’ says the Lord God.
[15] ‘When I make the land of Egypt desolate, And the country is destitute of all that once filled it, When I strike all who dwell in it, Then they shall know that I am the LORD.”

In this passage, if we observe the emboldened words, we can learn what it means to bring darkness upon a land. It means to destroy the land and those who dwell in it. In this case of Egypt, it is essentially total destruction God brought upon them in those days, since it was total darkness God said He will bring upon the land. But in the case we are shown in Revelation 8:12, after the fourth angel sounded, the darkness is just for a third portion of the day and night. Meaning, it is about a third of the world’s land area that will experience the darkness.

Since the darkness over Egypt played out as the destruction of warfare by the invading Babylonians, we can understand that darkness over the third of the world’s land mass means that the third of the world’s land mass will experience/witness destruction by warfare. This has already happened; and it was World War 2, where about a third of the world’s landmass (Europe and almost all of Asia) witnessed the destruction of warfare. So far, World War 2 is the greatest conflict in human history, claiming the most lives – more than 60 million people. Since this darkness came after the sounding of the fourth trumpet, we can understand that certain persons in connection with God served as messengers to prophesy these things as warning before they happened. This war was the first of the ways by which death and hades began to kill people within the fourth stage. And they are still in operation as we will see when we consider the pouring of the fourth vial (or cup) of judgment.

{In our spare time, we can also consider Isaiah 30:26 and Isaiah 49:10-13. There we will find a period of light represents a period of healing and no longer being afflicted. A contrast to a period of darkness, which we just discussed above.}

The pouring of the fourth vial (or cup) of judgment: Revelation 16:8-9 KJV reads:

“[8] And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. [9] And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give Him glory.”

First of all, from what we have learned about pouring a vial of God’s judgment, we can understand that certain persons must have served as God’s messengers to prophesy that people will be “scorched (burned) with fire”. But what does it mean to be burned with fire? To understand this, let us consider Ezekiel 5. It reads (NKJV):
“[1] And you, son of man, take a sharp sword, take it as a barber’s razor, and pass it over your head and your beard; then take scales to weigh and divide the hair.
[2] You shall burn with fire one-third in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are finished; then you shall take one-third and strike around it with the sword, and one-third you shall scatter in the wind: I will draw out a sword after them.
[3] You shall also take a small number of them and bind them in the edge of your garment.
[4] Then take some of them again and throw them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire. From there a fire will go out into all the house of Israel.
[5] Thus says the Lord God: ‘This is Jerusalem; I have set her in the midst of the nations and countries all around her.
[6] She has rebelled against My judgments by doing wickedness more than the nations, and against Mt statutes more than the countries that are all around her; for they have refused My judgments, and they have not walked in My statutes.’
[7] Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: ‘Because you have multiplied disobedience more than the nations that are all around you, have not walked in My statutes nor kept My judgments, nor even done according to the judgments of the nations that are all around you’–
[8] therefore thus says the Lord GOD: ‘Indeed I, even I, am against you and will execute judgments in your midst in the sight of the nations.
[9] And I will do among you what I have never done, and the like of which I will never do again, because of all your abominations.
[10] Therefore fathers shall eat their sons in your midst, and sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments among you, and all of you who remain I will scatter to all the winds.
[11] ‘Therefore, as I live,’ says the Lord GOD, ‘surely, because you have defiled My sanctuary with all your detestable things and with all your abominations, therefore I will also diminish you; My eye will not spare, nor will I have any pity.
[12] One-third of you shall die of the pestilence, and be consumed with famine in your midst; and one-third shall fall by the sword all around you; and I will scatter another third to all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them.
[13] ‘Thus shall My anger be spent, and I will cause My fury to rest upon them, and I will be avenged; and they shall know that I, the LORD, have spoken it in My zeal, when I have spent My fury upon them.
[14] Moreover I will make you a waste and a reproach among the nations that are all around you, in the sight of all who pass by.
[15] ‘So it shall be a reproach, a taunt, a lesson, and an astonishment to the nations that are all around you, when I execute judgments among you in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I, the LORD, have spoken.
[16] When I send against them the terrible arrows of famine which shall be for destruction, which I will send to destroy you, I will increase the famine upon you and cut off your supply of bread.
[17] So I will send against you famine and wild beasts, and they will bereave you. Pestilence and blood shall pass through you, and I will bring the sword against you. I, the LORD, have spoken.”

In this passage, if we focus our attention on verses 2 and 12, we can see that the one-third portion of hair burnt in the fire meant that one-third of the people of Israel will die of pestilence (disease epidemics) and famine. When we consider verses 16 and 17, we find the burning with fire also includes death by wild beasts. So, putting these together, we can simply understand that burning with fire represents death by pestilence (disease epidemic), famine and wild beasts.

With this understanding, we can go back to interpret Revelation 16:8-9 which reads:

“[8] And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. [9] And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give Him glory.”
(Revelation 16:8-9, NKJV)

We can now understand that to scorch (or burn) men with fire means to make them experience pestilence (disease epidemics), famine, and attack by wild beasts. This is God’s judgment upon the world in stage four, since this is what happens when the fourth vial is poured. We can observe these things around us already. There are different types of pestilence (disease epidemics) in the world already – aids, sars, bird flu, swine flu, cancer, e-coli, and many more. There are already many famines in different parts of the world. There are also increasing cases of wild animals (on land and in water) killing human beings. With all these going on, we know that we are currently in stage four and the fourth vial has been poured already.

This stage four is the same period our Lord Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24:7-8 when He said:

“[7] For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. [8] All these are the beginning of sorrows.”

And observe that all these agree with the vision we are shown when the fourth seal was opened – that death and hades will be given permission to kill with sword (war, or conflict), hunger (famine), deaths (through any means including natural disasters like earthquake, tsunami, hurricane, etc), and by the beasts of the earth (wild animals).

So we see that we are truly in stage four, and the fourth vial has already been poured out. Since the fourth vial has already been poured out, then it means that the fifth seal will soon be opened, or, it has already been opened. By the indications of the Holy Spirit, we know that the fifth seal has already been opened, because the content of the fifth trumpet is already being revealed. That is, the details of the message to be declared by the fifth angel is already being revealed. It is being revealed to those who are making themselves available; those who are putting on the right mindset necessary to serve as God’s messengers within the fifth stage. A mindset of total service to God, putting Him first above all our earthly responsibilities (being always ready to make sacrifices for His sake); A mindset of boldly speaking the words He has instructed us to speak – not holding back our lives, even when confronted with death (Revelation 12:11).

We may now proceed to consider stage five and the things spoken about it. It is God’s desire at this time to prepare the hearts of His people so that we will all remain strong in faith during stage five (which is the period of world peace, but great tribulation for the true believers). It is also His desire that as the disciples waited faithfully in the upper room until they received power to witness for Christ, so also we should wait patiently with a heart ready to give our all in service to Him. It is those who faithfully maintain this heart that will receive power from God to serve as His messengers in Stage 5 – as the fifth angel sounding the fifth trumpet – witnessing for Christ with great demonstration of power for 1260 days in a manner that has never been seen before. Amen. As the disciples in the upper room were convinced that they were appointed as witnesses for Christ, so also those who will take part in this ministry of sounding the fifth trumpet ought to be convinced that they have been appointed for it. It is as we fellowship with God that His Spirit will bear witness with our spirit that we have been appointed for that ministry. Blessed, most blessed, are those who take part in this ministry of the fifth angel. They will be the first to resurrect (and change) into immortality as first fruits unto God. They are the symbolic 144000 sealed unto God in these last days (Revelation 7&14), and they will drink the cup of the Lamb prepared for them by their Father, because they all are destined for high seats (high ranks) in the Kingdom (Matthew 20:21-23).
